The Hungry Things

Both Regan Halvrest and Vastion Halvrest mentioned the “Hungry Ones” who reportedly killed Loren Halvrest and possibly Theodora Halvrest.

The children seem terrified of the Hungry Ones, believing that they will come for them next if they are left unprotected.
